Kayla's band plays at City Center Mall

On Friday, June 9th, the 2nd Avenue Elementary School Band did a concert at City Center in the ampitheater. It was a great show. They did very well. Kayla plays trombone as you can see...so what follows are some pics of her and the band!

Kayla gets her first Pet

For her birthday, Kayla got a guinea pig! She had a name picked out...Reese, but she got overridden by her youngest two siblings who wanted to call him "Linny" ( after the guinea pig on Wonder Pets). So Linny is now at home (and he can be inside...unlike the mourning dove).

A new PET for the Family

This mourning dove made a nest on top of the pillar of our porch in early May. We let her move in...and we watched would would happen. Kevin said we had her as a pet!
