Mike's trip to see the Cubs in Chicago
A couple of my good friends Mike and John and I went to Chicago to the Friendly Confines at Wrigley to take in a game. It was a great time. Good food (killer burger for lunch and Chicago style deep dish pizza for dinner) good friends and a good old baseball game in a good old park. It was frigid...so we didn't really dress for a spring game...it was cold! It couldn't freeze out the good times though.

My Day at Work with My Dad April 27, 2006

My dad is a pastor and this is my story about yesterday when I went to work with him. When I woke up yesterday my dad was at a meating. A couple minutes later my dad came in the door. I said, "Are you ready for me to come to work today?" He said, "I sure am." So we walked out the door taking about what we would be doing. And this is what he said, "Well first we will pick up supplies from comunion. Then we will pick up the mail and then pick up some paper work at the house.
When it was 10:02 we stopped what we were doing and prayed, which we call "The Ten2B Virus." Luke 10:2b says, "The harvest is so plentiful but the workers are so few. Pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send out more workers in his fields." We are spend that time praying for people we know to find Jesus and love Him with all their hearts. Lots of people all over the world are praying this same prayer. That is why we call it a virus, because each day more people are starting to pray Luke 10:2b.
After we prayed, we went to the office and I did helped dad with some credit card statements for the quest, which is the name of our groups of house churches. Then dad let me put some stickes on some of his books showing that they belong to him. We started to get hungry and a man named John Ward and his wife, Kate, got a free lunch for 10 people to W.G. Grinder's. They had two extra spots and so they asked us to join them. After that we went back to the office and finished organizing the office. That was the end of our day at work. Then we went home and cleaned our bedrooms.
